Shom Jagtiani
Founder, CEO
He has an experience of over 18+ years in both investment banking and Capital introductions both
in India and U.S. He started his own Investment Banking Firm in 2006. Prior to Polymath Advisors, Shom has worked with Centrum Capital and All America Finance. Shom has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Bentley University, U.S.A. Shom is also a registered Mentor at Government of India Start-Up India initiative.
Viji Sampath
Partner, USA
Viji has over 30 years of corporate development, management consulting, and M&A advisory and capital raise
experience in consumer products, food, and other industries globally. He has also served on the Board of Directors at public companies in the US and India. He received a MS degree in Engineering, and an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.
Dr Ezhil Arasan R
Pharma Industry Expert
Dr Arasan is the founder and the Managing Director of Dr VRE research laboratories Pvt Ltd. In addition
to DVRL he has invested in a reverse pharmacology institution known as REPHARMA and has invested in start ups with core focus on Genomics and Health care IT initiatives. Furthermore, he has very rich experience and has held senior management positions for 30+ years with various distinguished international pharma companies such as Leo Pharma, Cheisi Pharmaceuitci Pharma, Dr Reddy’s and USV Ltd. Dr Arasan has held various stints at leading pharma and medical science companies such as ERIS Life Sciences. Dr Arasan is the creator of many blockbuster products like Volini, GLYCOMET-GP, GLYCOMET SR, VIBACT, ULTRAVEX, TINIFLOX, ABZORB AND MOISTUREX, SUPERBIO PRO.
Utsav Agrawal
Head of Structured Finance & Debt
Utsav advises for the debt fund raising transactions at Polymath Advisors. He has an experience
of over 9+ years in both corporate banking and structured finance in India. He has joined hands with Polymath in 2019. Utsav has worked with CRISIL, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Clix Capital (erstwhile GE Capital). Utsav has a Bachelor of Commerce from N.M. College,Mumbai and Chartered Accountant from ICAI.
Raghav Dhoot
Legal Counsel
Raghav is a corporate lawyer and a finance professional. He has been working with startups
and advising them on legal and financial issues. Raghav has completed his LLB from SLS, Pune and he has also cleared all three level of CFAexams.At Polymath, Raghav works on fintech and financial services deals.
Hitanshi Chheda
Senior Associate
As a Senior Analyst at Polymath, Hitanshi focuses on consumer and managed services transactions. She also
analyses and evaluates pipeline deals. Prior to joining Polymath, she worked with the ex-Business Head of DSP Mutual Fund.
Sebastian Joshi
Senior Associate
Sebastian is a Senior Analyst at Polymath. He looks at the execution of live deals and also assists in pipeline
building. Prior to joining Polymath he worked in the following sectors:- Auditing & Assurance services, Financial /Tax Due Diligence and Tax Compliance. He did his education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and is also currently pursuing the CFA Charter.
Aravind Anil
Senior Associate
As a Senior Associate at Polymath Advisors, Aravind is involved with the execution of live transactions, as well as with the evaluation of pipeline deals.
A qualified ACCA, he also obtained his Bachelor’s in Commerce from Bangalore City University, and is currently pursuing the CFA charter.
